.44 Bulldog

The reason I promote Charter Arms is their support for Dick Heller. That, and .44 Special is a great caliber, an equivalent of 45ACP in a pocketable gun.

    Excellent photos, as always.

Those are some MEAN looking hollow points in the second photo!

Carried one myself backin the “old” days. I too wish I had it back. The Chief just couldn’t understand why I carried something more powerful than a .38 spec.

Nice photos as always, but whats up with the trigger guard penetration in that first one?

    • Oleg Volk says:

That is quite deliberate and shows how it looks right before being fired.

      • JP says:

Thanks for the explanation. If done deliberately I can safely assume your hand model was being as safe as possible during the photography session. If taken during live fire, even better!

    That’s an awesome looking handgun.

  6. Booger hook off the bang switch! And in that pic, I saw rounds in the cylinder. Loaded Revolver!

    • Oleg Volk says:

How else would a person actually fire the revolver? Some images are actually done during live fire session.

    New desktop background!

Owned an original Bulldog in 44. I removed the thumb latch as it would always bloody my thumb knuckle when shooting. It didn’t have the shrouded ejector rod so I was able to just pull the rod to unlatch the cylinder. I traded it for a Glock 33 which is now long gone. I should have kept the Bulldog.

Looks like a reincarnation of my S&W 696, albeit less refined. I carry the Federal 200gr LSWCHP rounds in my 696, with a couple spare HKS CA44 5-round speedloaders in jacket pocket. Maybe that same speedloader would work with the new Charter revolver, too?
