    Had an original BD 20 years ago. The rough cylinder latch release would bust the knuckle on the thumb. I removed as the ejector wasn’t shrouded and the cylinder could be opened by pulling on it.

      Mine solved that problem on its own by having the screw back out and the cylinder latch fall off after the first or second cylinder…

    Nice photo. The 44 Special is no slouch either. Are those Charter Arms revolvers OK? Other than the cylinder release? I’ve never tried one, or even handled one IIRC. Can’t say as I like slick varnished grips. A little moisture and they can get slippery.
