    The muzzle brake helps with the recoil, but the muzzle climb when standing off-hand makes a spotter necessary. Sandbags, or bipod is definately recommended.

    I’m assuming that barrel is shortened to fit a supressor can and use subsonic ammo.

    Otherwise, you’re losing a lot of velocity to a short-barrel .308 that normally runs out of steam between 800-1000 yards. I wouldn’t call that a counter-sniper.
