   Lovely early 50s IIIf black dial with the 50mm f/2 (collapsible) Summitar, no? I have a red-dial model otherwise identical. And I’ll tell you, the looks and questions you get when you haul out one of those in a crowd…. The Qs start, of course, with, “Can you even get film these days?”

   And kids ask you to show them the picture you just took.

   Splendid hardware — but I have to say they are definitely antiques.

   Interesting that the “friendly smile” in the second picture more resembles “bare fangs” in the first.
