True definition of an “assault weapon”

Assault is legally defined as “an act intended to cause an apprehension”. Weapons used to intimidate innocent people would be, by their actual use, “assault weapons”. Curiously, all the proposed gun control laws specifically exempt the people who already use their guns to intimidate and sometimes to murder innocent civilians.

    Last I checked Cain killed his brother Abel with a rock upside the head. The politicians aren’t interested in preventing crime they are afraid of John or Jane Q.Citizen possessing weapons . Possessing weapons leads to an independent populace that do not need the politicians.
