Lovely shot. The gun kinda sneaks up on you: I thought it was another one of your magnificent “interesting people.” (And I normally see the gun first…)

    Nice shot.

I’ve been hanging around here (your crib) for years. Born and raised in Nashville.

Completely off topic, and it makes absolutely no difference at all. None. I was wondering, just curious, why you don’t use a iMac for your work. Everyone I know, anywhere close to your level, uses a Mac. Just curious is all.

    Have a good day,

Maybe because Macintoshes aren’t exactly what they’re trying to sell you into believing, and they are not, contrary to common misconception, somehow better for photo/video/audio editing than a PC. In fact, their hardware is much more expensive, the software/OS is less flexible, and Photoshop works just the same regardless of which type of computer you are using.

Macs made their way into the art world based mainly on styling, marketing, and a supposed ease-of-use that just isn’t true any more, if it ever was in the first place.

Exactly. I used Macs until about 2005 or so, but PC hardware was necessary for certain 3D animation packages I was teaching (such as 3D Studio Max) and also gave the same performance at far less cost. Finally, I could get tech support for PC easily but not for Mac.
