It’s all fun and games until people who didn’t want to be involved are forced to participate. Then it’s game over for the original participants.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
    by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

    They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
    No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

    It was not suddently bred.
    It will not swiftly abate.
    Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

Yeah, when a bully (the authoritarian mindset of the world political, “scientific” and religious system, in this case) becomes accustomed to bullying, gaslighting, intimidating and controlling, and accustomed to getting away with it, and is now comfortable in his power and associations, it comes as an extreme shock when his apparently compliant victim, suddenly takes him down, like lightening, and is then on top of him looking down on him, stern and unafraid. At that point the bully’s whole world, his entire house of cards, his whole thought-action-consequence paradigm which he has developed, practiced, nourished and perfected all his life, has vanished. It can happen in less than a second. I’ve seen it. And we’re told that eventually we’ll all see it.

Adventists call it the “Three angels’ messages”. But it comes with the warning that we can all too easily end up on the wrong side, thinking we’re doing right; that we’re doing God’s work. In fact He doesn’t need help but only wants our allegiance.
