Trijicon Reflex 1×42

I finally found a good sight for the KSG: fiber optic Reflex. It holds the recoil of slugs fine, has a wide field of view and a bright reticle. Fiber optic/tritium illumimation means I do not have to remember to turn it on and off. Blue tint and amber dot work well against blue sky.

I guess it’s balanced better than a Saiga… but still. Kel-tec has many gas operated weapons, why is this one a pump?

I suppose making a mechanical gas system that would adjust itself automatically to work fine with different shells is hard…but IMO, there’s got to be a way.

After watching others operate that gun, I would not want to depend on it in a life threatening situation.

A remarkably simple solution, in fact…

What model reflex and what part number is that sight? I am curious because I want one on my KSG and I am curious what MOA your using. Also do the BUIS actually alight with the sight for co-witness?

    Thanks

To the OP many places have a magizine limit on gas fed shotguns while there is NO restriction on mag capacity with a pump action.

It’s a 4.5MOA dot. You can use BUIS but it’s not an absolute co-witness, sights are lower than the dot.
