Is “federales” a swear word?

The term was long in disrepute in Mexico and much of the American South. Will the threats, vandalism and obstruction by the various DC-inspired goons make the spiteful federal Napoleons and their henchmen as popular as syphilitic shithouse rats? They already rank that low with me, I am just curious how prevalent this sentiment has become.

A lot of people are learning some very valuable lessons these past days…

  2. John says:

Oleg, in many of the poorer parts of the south the word “federales” is still spoken with distaste to this day.

I don’t know anyone not fed up with government. I have herd several twenty and thirty year military vets in my family that say its time to bulldoze DC into the Atlantic and start over. More than one of them have started building bomb shelters (no kidding , they are digging bunkers away from their houses in case civil war breaks out) My brother is a staunch Democrat and he believes that Obama is the greatest evil our nation has ever faced. He told me he thinks the man would love to be the next Hitler or Stalin.

I am in full support of “The People” taking over (back) the Whitehouse. I believe there are enough armed Citizens when it becomes necessary. I’m anxious to see the effects of the Trucker Beltway Protest this Friday!

I think things are looking better by the day, as those in power show themselves as the scum they’ve become. It is turning more than a few heads.

Obama said he’d have the most transparent administration in history or something to that effect. Well, I believe he was telling the truth, in a way– This is the most transparently communist pile of festering sewage we’ve seen in the U.S. in our lifetimes, and it’s taking a treMENdous amount of will for some people to avoid seeing it. And what I really love is that this is somehow dragging the Progressive Republican Old Guard into the gutter as well. This is great stuff.

I think that Oleg’s comparison of the DC thugs and their henchmen to low-dwelling rodents is offensive…to the rats.

Honestly, every “Barry-cade” that goes up to keep us away from scenic overlooks, to prevent people from stopping on the highway shoulder to photograph Mt. Rushmore, or to close the National Mall, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, etc. shows what a bunch of petty, vindictive, nihilistic children have taken over the White House. I hope our outrage lasts long enough to vote this corrupt bunch out.

The common answer to this on internet discussions is “But you can’t stand up to the U.S. Army.” (Not that I agree with that assessment.)
But today it brings us to:
Running a Government for Dummies Chapter 1: Don’t piss off the military.

The Fort Hood attack was “workplace violence?” Business as usual after the Navy Yard mass killing? Blocking Honor Flights from their memorials? Cutting off death benefits for families who have just lost loved ones in combat?

The present administration can count on the alphabet agency SWATs, but will the military be their “federales?” Or will they remember how they were used at Waco?

Hi Oleg – It’s quite a sad state of affairs. I continue to be astonished at the opacity and outright spitefulness of this administration. I’m 54, and I have never seen anything like it in this country. When our Commander in Chief and purported “Leader of the Free World” encourages, and even ORDERS, those under his command to make a political standoff as painful as possible for the citizens of this country he has absolutely abrogated his responsibility, and his moral authority. He should resign, or be removed.

The real shame to me is that so many people do not care.

I didn’t coin the term but I did adopt it, I’ve been referring to the minions of the authoritarian regime currently overseeing the destruction of a once great land as Fedcoats a somewhat reminiscent term for an old enemy.

    Hello Oleg,

I have to say that I envy the guys who went to Washington and tore down the barricades.

And no, I would not insult the Mexican National Police that way.
