Webley Mk.III bullets

Does anyone manufacture bullets hollow base, hollow point (preferably plated) in any of the common revolver or autopistol calibers? If not, does anyone make molds for them?

Dixie Gun Works used to make custom molds, you might try them. Maybe Lyman, as well.

I have a hollow base mould for the .455 Webley and it works well. I would be happy to cast you some bullets.

Night Owl Enterprises, great molds. They can do anything you need. Also, cech over at castboolit.gunloads.com, and see if anyone over there already has such a mold they might want to get rid of cheaper than a new one – they do a LOT of custom stuff and group buys over there.

    RCBS makes a round-nose flat-point hollow-base for .45 Colt that’ll work

and a mold specifically for .455 Webley

Lyman USED to make a mold for a 250-grain hollow-base wadcutter for .45 Colt; been trying to find one for years.

For the hollow-base/hollow-nose like the Webley Manstopper, would probably have to be swaged.

And likewise, ask at http://www.castboolits.gunloads.com/ . Someone there would know, if anyone would.

  7. *THE* man for obsolete ammo is Bob Hayley, in Seymour, Texas. I’ve been in his shop, and he’s well equipped and really knows his stuff (had him make me some .41 swiss). Give him a call at 940-888-3352. He tends to let his machine get it, so don’t be surprised by that. I’d recommend calling him quickly- he said something about a gun magazine write coming to see him- if he gets noted in a national mag, he’ll get behind quick!
