The local NPR affiliate keeps advertising a “learn to program” class session. It sounds very low level intro to Java or C#. Local NPR station is WFPL. This seems to be a 12 week program: http://www.thesoftwareguild.com/lp/louisville/
The /r/louisville subreddit may be another resource to use to ferret out such a seminar.
Louisville also has a Geek Dinner group that is active. I have not been in some years though, http://insiderlouisville.com/tag/louisville-geek-dinner/ .
Finally I am a software engineer/solution architect working in healthcare software and I live in Louisville. I cannot offer formal coursework, but I would be happy to field some questions over coffee or during NRAAM and do my best to answer them.
