   As a personal weapon the STEN is just awful. It is as dangerous to the user as it is to the enemy . It is great as a cheap, disposable, weapon for irregular warfare but I’d MUCH rather have an old school UZI or M-3 than the plumbers nightmare, if I were going to haul a buzz gun. Having shot all three (and the Thompson) I’d go with the old full size UZI with the original wooden stock. The one I trained with in the 70’s was near new. Accurate and reliable, the ONLY thing I didn’t like was the mag change button at the bottom of the pistol grip. My second choice would have to be the M-3. It lacks the UZI’s drop safety but makes up for that with simplicity and .45 bullets. But I’m the kind of guy that would own an M-60A3 if I could ..So…….. I REALLY like things that make BIG holes—-Ray

   The Semmerling LM-4 at the end really gave me a b*ner.
