In picture #1, what is the pistol you are carrying and tell us about the over the shoulder holsters.
Sorry to butt in, but the holstered pistols are SIG P49/P210s. I’m not sure what Christoph has in his belt, though.
The poster: Wilhelmina Tell?
The holster reminds me of the WWII tanker’s holster:

Note that Christopher apparently has a “thunder” holster as well.
It’s a damned shame that poster is both 50 Francs (in the large size) and only ships in Switzerland.
I was going to ask for an ID on those holsters. I’m having a hard time finding a good quality “tanker” style shoulder holster for my 1911-A1, and that kinda looks like it will fit the bill. My father had one when he came back from overseas (Korea/Vietnam), and as a child I remember playing with it. He made me a wooden 1911 that I could stuff in it and pretend I was driving our VW Camper Bus through Rommel’s Panzer lines!
Driving a VW bus wearing a shoulder holster: cognitive disconnect.
🙂
The nylon fabric chest holster knock off of the old US Tanker Holster is an effective and affordable field and range option. While I really like the model style and unspecified brand Oleg & company are wearing here’s another option… http://www.bdstacticalgear.com/pd-bds-tactical-tanker-shoulder-holster.cfm
As in all things internet search engines will illustrate other, pricier, options as well as finely crafted leather rigs. Having played around with vertical shoulder holsters and chest rigs in a misspent past I can only offer the following. Weapon access is slower than a belt rig but with proper alignment and fitting effective.
As to the crossbow poster girl, I like it, it’s a bit steam punk and pop, nice.
Joe…thanks for the info, it’s much appreciated!
