Handheld .50 caliber

It carries well, shoots accurately and softly. For daily practice, it  accepts a .45ACP barrel and recoil spring. Guncrafter Industries #4 is the most impressive 1911 I’ve got to shoot yet.

    That you can switch platforms from .45 to .50 is impressive in itself. I’m sure Elmer Keith would be pleased by it.

    Single-shot .223 1911 conversion?

    (I don’t really see the point of an expensive wildcat .50, myself, for anything other than “because racecar”.

    Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)
