    Wait a minute… Isn’t the MBUS front site not suppose to be mounted on a gas block?

      Your statement is correct for a .223 rifle. On a blowback .22LR upper with a full-height “gas block” (which it just a rail surface as there’s no gas tube), it works fine. The elevation is correct and there’s no heat issue.
