    Having stuck a tentative toe into the whole “Ammo Girl” bruhaha, I have to say that I get the point about the arms industry not marketting well to women with pink pistols and pinup calendars. However, I think that the problem with complaints about the Lucky Gunner event arose from the fact that these ladies, while attractive, are obviously NOT eye candy / cheesecake for the benefit of the “boys”, so there’s a certain disconnect: “So, what’s your problem HERE????” It’s sort of like ranting and raving about the evils of demon rum in connection with an event where the strongest thing on the menu is root beer.

    I understood the concept of “booth girls” but everything I’ve seen with the “Ammo Girl’s” from the Lucky Gunner” shoot indicate’s that they were a class act.

    They’re all healthy looking, young ladies. Not showing excess cleavage or wearing extremely short shorts.

    They weren’t there just to be seen as eye candy. They worked.

    What was all the broohaha about?

    Hmm. And imagine how great they’d look if you averaged all of their faces…

    For some reason, we percieve mixed race and averages as more pretty. That’s why so many models are from central Europe.. this place has never been boring, and population churn has always been going on around here…

    I like the rightmost one most.

    Let me guess.. Chinese-American?

    Not even close to “cheesecake”.

    The originator of the Ammo Girls [i]tempest-in-a-teapot[/i] was IMHO showing just as much, if not more, skin on her open-carry photo at Lowes, as posted on her own blog.

    Wonder if said photo would discourage females from pursuing firearms purchases?

    Just sayin’, that’s all…
