Good employee relations

“Under capitalism, one man oppresses another. Under socialism, it’s the other way around.”

My experience with labor relations in the US have been quite positive. My employers generally treated me well and I am friendly to people who help on my projects. About three weeks ago, I wrote about a restaurant manager whose first range day was arranged by me, her employer and our mutual friends.

Firing Kahr P9 at a Nevada desert range

This week, I received an email from her boss with an update:

She’s a good shooter!!!  She gets annoyed when 3 rounds out of 150 are in the 7 ring, all the rest are 8 or better. She discovered her gun:  1911 Series 70 single stack in 9mm.  The manual of arms is natural to her.  She’s totally comfortable.  I just lost a good Colt. Today she shot 4 rounds of 44 magnum at 25 yards, 2  of them hit in the TEN ring. We’re going to a gun show today to fondle guns and gun accessories.

I think that the theorists of class struggle will be quite disappointed in this case. Not enough abuse of the working class happening to foment a revolution.

Fine example of “why we win” and will continue to do so. Thanks for this Oleg.

More guns in more peoples hands is always a good thing.

Unions are caused by incompetent management.

Henry Ford was union free for years. Then one day he discovered a newspaper in an employee lav and got a bee in his bonnet about toilet breaks.

He hired people to time toilet breaks, and chivvy employees that were taking too long. That bit of prime stupid was enough for the UAW to get its foot in the door.
