These two were taken in 2005 with a 6MP Canon 10D. Looking at the RAW files, I see that working with 5D and 5D2 images spoiled me. Making these look good was rather tough.

Interesting use of suspenders…
At what enlargement can you tell a significant difference between 6 and 10 megapixels? Can you tell much difference between JPEG and raw? I print to roughly 8×10 and I cannot tell much if any difference between the two.
RAW and JPEG differ pretty drastically to my eye. I never use JPEG if RAW is available. Superior sharpness, ability to fine-tune color balance and tones…RAW is essential, IMO.
As for print, I’d think they would look similar at 8×12 but different any larger. And that assumes same-generation sensors. 2005 sensor is inferior to 2010 sensor of the same pixel count.
That photo makes me flinch in remembered pain. I bailed off a bike, and cracked/broke? my tailbone when I landed flat on the pavement. (left the custom sidestand down, and kept making rights until a fast sweeping left. Couldn’t see it under the Guzzi’s cylinder, and since it had to swing down a bit before coming back, there was no way it could retract while the bike was leaning on it. Since it mounted at the very front, reaching it with my foot after straightening up the bike was not an option. The curb and guardrail were approaching fast, and the drum brakes of that model were not good, so I let go.)
Couldn’t sit for a couple months, which made riding an interesting experience. Kickstarting the Norton was a bitch! I still get twinges when I bump the bone. Knew a girl that had to cut out a pocket in the foam of her Norton’s seat, since her bone healed crooked. Doc’s told her they would have to break it for clearance if she ever gave birth. She swore THAT was never going to happen!
Anyway, she should carry those keys on the front side. Much safer. Not enough butt to keep the keys off the ground if she falls.
Is she trying to hide the keys from TSA? 😉
Will, I did the same thing with an old Honda but I did not break my tail bone. Fortunately later bikes will not start with kickstand down.
