The illustrious comrade in arms of Major Caudill, Tom Kill…err, Tamara Keel of View From The Porch blog is writing an article about Boberg XR9-S for Concealed Carry magazine. I got to photograph her on the secret Lunar base right after she test fired the guns to evaluate their performance in reduced gravity. Photos of her with Professor de la Paz coming shortly.

“If you ask me to smile one more time I shoot you in the knee cap!”
“…in the other knee cap”
So it turns out my brain can very easily be tricked into momentarily thinking Tam is a Heinlein character instead of a real person.
And, like, you know how you see a book character in the movie, and you think “No, that’s not really what he looks like?” I kind of had that, too.
Maybe I need to read less blogs and get more of a life.
Ah the one and only Tam. And don’t try to run, you’ll only die tired
I always knew in my heart she was hot. Fortunately for her I’m old…and married.
Someday I’ll get to a blogmeet.
I agree completely. Smart and hot. One hell of a combination. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the old part…AND the married part…as well. LOL. Have to share that one with my wife. It can be our weekend arguement.
Hey, I only said Tam was smart. I never said I was…
Can you hear me. Major Tom?
Of course, that should have been a comma rather than a period. I blame public education.
I sometime’s wonder if Mizz Tam ever take’s off her ball cap as I’ve never seen a photograph of her without one on her head. That’s really a shame because she’s such an attractive lady fully capable of taking care of herself.
Eh, I’ve stopped wearing the combat boots all the time… Who knows what elements of my uniform I might start eschewing next? 😀
If you ever star ze chewing of your uniform elements, I would take it to indicate strong agitation…and try to slip out of sight quietly.
Joe S,
Here is a pic of Tam from a few years back, w/o cap. Not Bald!

Frank,
I suspect it is just photoshop. The real reason Tam wears the hat is that her brain has expanded so much that she had the top of her skull surgically removed. Tam’s uber-brain is now protected with a large laboratory-grade Pyrex dome, which some might confuse with an ordinary fish bowl.
As her brain continues to expand, Tam will eventually be forced to wear oversized Stetsons. For formal events, she will wear a large beehive wig. Ultimately, Tam’s brain will expand to the point that she starts to use phrases like “puny mortals” and “ack, ack, ack.”
I am always more impressed by her mind, reading, writing and indirectly her affairs with guns and gunnies. But this is what happens when a professional gets to take a picture – beautiful work, Oleg. But I am keeping my memory of Tam pure. Still a very nice photograph. And she rides a bicycle and carries.

I was going to lead into a Dwight Yoakum joke, but I chickened out. I value my life to much.
I’m picturing a brace of Navy Colts with ma’haps a Arkansas Toothpick somewhere in there. She’s partial to old iron. 😉
