Woke up before 6am this morning to re-set my waking hours to include more daylight. My friend showed up at six a.m. with some of the clothes she designed. We planned to shoot outdoor fashion, but got rain. I suggested shooting the photos in studio, she wanted to run outside instead. I am glad that the 24-70/2.8 lens is well gasketed and my hat has wide enough brims to keep most of the water off the camera.
I like early morning light. Although rain cuts down on the overall illumination and contrast of the background, it helps to make more interesting photos.
I like these candids, Oleg.
Great shots. What camera are you using?
Canon 5Dmk2, ISO 1600.
Gorgeous. Model and photography.
The first outdoor photo put me in mind of Michonne from The Walking Dead.
Love your work Oleg, don’t know if you ever shoot males, but I would love to pose for you some time. I have been following your work for years and I highly respect you as an artist and an American. These are excellent shots, as usual!
I would happily work with male models. A friend and I have been trying to match schedules for a year now, so other volunteers are most welcome.
Just recently:
Don’t just sit there — shoot from other positions, too!
Just another cubicle dweller
Perhaps nsfw males was intended?
Looking at the ruffled dress, I think that clothing designer would have fun designing cloths for Allonia, one of the female characters in the manuscript I sent you, particularly in the BBQ scene on New Texas.
