Please do not use text messaging to communicate anything important to me.

Late this morning, I saw two messages come in (notification and partial text came across the top of the phone) but neither is visible in the text menu on the phone. So I know that somebody tried to reach me but can’t get to the data. The phone (HTC Inspire) doesn’t bubble up fresh messages on top reliably, so unless I chance onto them by accident, I can’t view them.

To reach me reliably, please use email or call.

Depending on your phone company, you may be able to turn text messages off entirely. I did that with mine, because I don’t have any interest in that feature and don’t like to pay for messages I didn’t ask for.

Everyone should remember that text messages are not two-way communications and guarantees do not exist for either the reading or the delivery of the message. The use of text messaging should only be used for the most casual, insignificant, throw-away notes.

wife was a florist. she used to have people text or facebook their order. they were mad when order wasnt filled. never received message. You cant let your livelihood depend on a text. Nothing beats a phone call for that. Love your pics oleg.
