    If she were to actually fire it in that position, the bark would abrade her hand from recoil!

      Merle, I’m guessing that its bite would be worse than its bark…

        She’s also leaning back too far. I’ll post actual firing photos later.

        HMMM, then I’m guessing you have never shot one – the Russian (or possibly Finnish) M1891 has plenty of bite & sliding your hand along a rough surface will educate you rather quickly!

        However, none of the above takes away from the photography, I just don’t want anyone to injure themselves…..

          That’s one of my three Mosins…so I have a slight familiarity with them. Actual firing position differs from what is shown above.
