Fitting the rifle to the user

Too long and heavy!

Too long and heavy!

With firearms, same as with shoes, it really helps if the fit is personalized. This little carbine made by Doublestar uses an Ace stock with short length of pull and a very light barrel to make it easier for a smaller shooter to handle. Neoprene buffer tube cover and larger “winter” trigger guard make it more comfortable in cold weather. Ventilated rail and vertical grip help when the thin barrel heats up. Backup sight folds flat to allow easy red dot use. Fixed front sight and fixed rather than collapsible stock were picked for strength.

The sight is Primary Arms micro red dot with “killflash”. She’s also carrying a “Gun Blog 45” Para Ordnance LDA in a Bladetech paddle holster.
