Chad Enos, Keltec Shooting Team
Earlier today, at the range…we found that Keltec RDB muzzle doesn’t bounce much at all when the rifle fires. Slow-motion video to follow.

My former model wants to let go of a TPD AXR bullpup
This rifle has been shot very little, so she would like to find a new home for it. Asking $1500 (neither sight nor magazine are included). It does take standard AR15 magazines. If interested, let me know and I will … Continue reading
Darkness, my old friend…
RDB-C bullpup in 6.5mm Grendel with 3x Bering Optics scope and a quick-detachable night vision device. Infrared illuminator is off to the right. PMR30 on the side for close-range backup. Spare mags ride over AR50o steel plates. The smiley gunner … Continue reading

Compact but long-range
Desert Tech Covert .308 with 3-17x US Optics scope. Short, handy and effective up to the limit of the cartridge range. People look like this after shooting it. The person, incidentally, is a talented photographer in her own right. She … Continue reading

Just figured out a new way to light people
Just two lights without reflectors set at 180 degrees to each other, and almost no post-processing is required. Kel-Tec RDB-C in 6.5 Grendel, Meopta 6-24x scope, ESS goggles.
New models
Aaron, who modeled for my photos back in 2010, is back. And he brought friends along. We had a good photo shoot. More images coming as I get them edited.
Don’t hide behind your pets
Dogs are less likely to use deadly force appropriately than responsible people. Depending on their training, they may hurt a person who shouldn’t be bitten or fail to go after a genuine intruder. Dogs are more likely to get hurt … Continue reading

Sometimes, all kinds of oddities turn up at the local gun store. They specialize in defensive guns. The people are knowledgeable — one owns a private museum of US military arms — and very helpful.

Extended use report on Kel-Tec RDB: new on AllOutdoor
The first eight months (including pre-production) with the new .223 bullpup
Fun size buckshot
They may be short, but it’ still buckshot at 1200fps. Not much recoil to speak of. Numerous reviews mentioning use in a KSG (in my experience, each tube holds 12 shells, one review mentions 11). Now to actually find these … Continue reading
Compact and accurate
K&M17 5.56mm with 4x Lucid scope: very compact, quite accurate. Style and poise by Yih Chau-Cheng.
Superhuman senses.
She can hear better and tell bearing of the sound source more precisely with the amplified hearing protection. She can see in the dark with the thermal scope. And she’s definitely compensating with the Tavor for her inability to well-aimed … Continue reading

RDB in OD Green, 17.2″ barrel
The optic is the familiar 3x prismatic with BDC reticle. The 3x reticle is not the same as shown in the video, but the principles of use are the same.
Accurate rifles are interesting. Accurate shooting is more so.
Let’s say we have a target one second of flight time away. For 62gr .223 that would be about 650 yards. Aim, correct for drop, fire…not even close! 10mph side wind will take the center of the group more … Continue reading
