Keltec CMR30 carbines
With Gemtech 22wmr suprpessor (left) and PWS Triad .223 flash hider (right). Lucid red dots on both.
Flashy ammo
PMC rifle ammunition is pretty flashy to begin with. This picture shows shot three or four in a sequence of rapid fire. By then, the build-up of hot gas and unburned powder particles caused a brighter muzzle flame than before. The … Continue reading
Varminting in Idaho
PWS Mk.1 in 300Blackout, with Gemtech can and Aimpoint T1 microdot. Good on coyotes out to about 300m.

Unwinding between bouts of work
My tech support is in town. Ingram 45ACp submachine gun with a home-made (properly tax stamped) Scionics-type silencer. No usable sights (needs a red dot) but can be point shot fairly well out to 35-40 yards.
Random bullpuppery
Flashhider with QD mount for a Yankee Hill can, Forend housing a Surefire light, and a custom 300Blackout barrel made by Paul Reaavis of Gearhead Works. Looks useful to me. Steyr AUG in 9mm, with an Aimpoint on Gearhead Works’ rail … Continue reading
Random people encountered at the range
6.8mm LWRC upper on an HK416 lower, .308 Gemtech Sandstorm suppressor, Aimpoint sight. And another entirely random person… Tactical beard, strategic smile. 5.56mm Bushmaster, Aimpoint, Gemtech Trek suppressor. I am starting to see a pattern with the sight and can … Continue reading
New on AllOutdoor: Gemtech GM22 Suppressor
Maintenance-friendly design with asymmetric baffle stack.
HK MP7 sound-suppressed with B&T silencer
4.6x30mm round fires bullets in the 26-42 grain range at 2000-2400fps. Designed to penetrate soft body armor, it produces minimal felt recoil, especially when sound-suppressed. It’s quite easy to keep a 3-6 round burst on a silhouette at 100 meters. … Continue reading
Lawyer portraits
Alexandria Kincaid specializes in gun-related issues. Disclaimer: we did no live fire, hence the absence of eye protection. She brought the FS2000 and the Tavor, and Lyle from Ultimak provided the Mni-14.

Keltec RFB in teenage hands
Sarah 15, under 100 pounds and left-handed. Forward ejecting RFB works fine for her even though it tips the scales at 14.2lb fully scoped, BUISed, suppressed and loaded. The balance is far enough back for comfortable hold. I used this … Continue reading

Tactical like a polar bear
This lawyer lady has some nifty rifles. I bet this one works well in the snow. FS2000 with Gemtech G5 and Aimpoint sight.

A-tacs camo works pretty well.
This Tavor uses a Gear Head Works forend that holds any 1″ light or laser (a Primary Arms tactical light with tape switch in this instance). The suppressor looks big because it’s a YHM .308 can mounted on a .223 … Continue reading

Effective night vision photography
I’ve done night vision photography in the past. It involved carefully placing an PVS14 monocular in front of a Panasonic LX3 or Canon 5D2 with 35/2 lens and doing long exposures from a tripod. Getting alignment between the optics was … Continue reading
