Concealed carry shorts
Undertech concealment shorts — like a wearable IWB holster. Plus: very concealable. Minus: doesn’t stay open when empty, so re-holstering is more difficult. Drawing is simple but requires a pretty long reach and careful muzzle control to avoid covering self … Continue reading
Thigh holsters, how to wear them?
When I posted first photos of the lace thigh holster, I showed it worn on the outside of the leg. The vendor site showed it worn inside the thigh. Which is correct? The answer is both. If you are slim … Continue reading
My photos in Russia again.
A show of my photos as a part of Right to Arms presentation called “My home is my castle” in Tula, Russia. Tula was long the center of gun production there, so importing gun posters has a Coals to Newcastle … Continue reading

A friend from Utah who showed me around the state a little. Former Marine, currently a concealed carry instructor, among other things.
Smaller caliber and less magazine capacity? Not likely!

The right to self-defense in New York City?
The endgame of oppression is usually somewhere between the psychotic mass murders of the Nazi Germany or Pol Pot’s Cambodia and the more pragmatic feudalism we see now in Russia and New York City. The retiring Mayor Blomberg — famous … Continue reading
Photos for publications
These images were all made for print magazines. Most were published, some were not — now you can see them all here. Czechpoint .357 revolver. Higher left hand position would have been nice. One reason to try to flee: handgun … Continue reading
Jeopardy, opportunity, ability
The shooting of Andy Lopez for the “crime” of carrying an airsoft toy gun in California is interesting for several reasons. One, the shooter is an acquaintance whom I know through the Firing Line forum and regard favorably, largely thanks … Continue reading

Visible bullet trace
Student in Condition 1 carry course fires a Glock 23 at the range. Bullet trace is visible. I recently attended one of their sessions and found both classroom and range portions very informative.
