For sale: Sig 556 rifle
I bought this rifle several years ago for use with M4-2000 suppressor (no blowback with it). I ended up preferring the SU16 to it and the rifle wound up being used mostly as the photo prop. It runs 100% and … Continue reading
Single action for the win!
Brookie sights a Coonan 357, while Alexandra squeezes the trigger on a Para Ordnance 45 and Allison racks her Para. We got wraparound Sawfly safety glasses to make sure that empties can’t enter from the side. Notice than none of … Continue reading
All-pink guns are much too girly.
Guns with pink accents, on the other hand… STI Elektra 9mm Does anyone remember back in the 1980s many people thought that stainless rifles with black synthetic stocks were just not right? A “real gun” back then was blued and … Continue reading
Boberg XR9-S pistols finally shipping!
Arne is filling orders from the early (2008!) adopters.
New varminting rig
Coyotes are becoming a problem for a friend. To assist, we’ve put together a new rig for night varminting. Keltec RMR30 (22WMR autoloader) with Gemtech sound suppressor (also to remove muzzle flash). Folding “iron” sights for daytime use, 4x night … Continue reading

Bullseye Brookie and her 6.8mm Mean Green
6.8mm SPC (Hornady HP shown here) is a pretty effective round. The bullet weight is twice of .223 and muzzle velocity isn’t that much lower. 6.8mm “Mean Green” with 4×32 ACOG is a nicely built rifle. It is comfortable to … Continue reading

More about teaching new shooters
After the short-range introduction shoot, Alex got excellent coaching from Brian in the finest Appleseed tradition. One key to a good shoot seems to be good ammunition: I usually bring a mix of Eley and CCI and have yet to … Continue reading

A capable new shooter at the range
One of the range visitors today was a new shooter. Alex started with S&W617 with CB caps, then shot suppressed Walther P22, Ruger 22/45, STI Elektra 9mm, suppressed Glock 17, Colt (her favorite) and Para Ordnance .45s, Coonan .357. Then … Continue reading
Thinking of building a FAL?

A very girly gun.
It’s not pink. It’s black and so go with every outfit. Collapsible stock, low-recoil 5.45 caliber, sensuous long-stroke gas piston operation. All it’s missing is the sling. Romanian AK74 clone with Primary Arms red dot on a Midwest Industries rail.

Boberg XR9-S now much closer to production
Boberg | Hornady
Anti-tank cannon
Just the item for discouraging armored vehicles from going through your church walls. RPGs are more portable but lack stand-off range. TOW and similar guided missiles harder to come by.
