If .22s are fun, would 22 of them represent fun squared?
GSG522 arrived recently. Having shot them before, I am planning to be amused.
Range time in the Spring
Another great day at the range. Went to see the next update of Leader 50 and to socialize with friends. Finally tried my Mossberg 144 at 100 yards and was able to hit a pop can every time. Rimfire match … Continue reading
Anti-gun ranges aren’t much fun.
Tamara and Sayuncle has long noted that being a gunnie is much more fun than being an anti-gunnie. JRC 9mm can be configured for left-hand ejection but that requires partial disassembly and we didn’t have the time. Next range trip … Continue reading

An excellent range day
For once, I went to the range without a camera. With several guns to fire in a limited time and poor lighting available, I concentrated on having fun. We set up at 25 yards and played for a while. One … Continue reading

Left-handed newbies
Last thing a new shooter needs is an additional handicap of a right-handed rifle. Crickett The same carbine works as an oversized pistol for right-handed adults. It’s good for a quarter-sized group at 25 yards.
Jim Gilliland
Jim and Missy visited this weekend for photos for various articles. Here’s one of Jim showing a proper stance with a Remington 700.

Recycling food cans with a 9mm carbine.
Take a 9mm carbine, top it with 3x scope and hang tins where the wind moves them a bit. Next, make the cans dance with 33 rounds of 9mm. Smiles all around are guaranteed.

Having a great time at Keltec
Keltec is one of the most pleasant companies I’ve ever visited. People seem friendly to each other, helpful to me and working with them is a joy. Went for another range trip today, mostly to shoot video of their guns … Continue reading
Similar manual of arms
One major advantage of AR15 platform is the number of calibers and configurations that all share the same manual of arms. At first glance, MKA1919 appears to be another AR15, but appearances are deceiving. Internally, this 12ga shotgun is most … Continue reading

How my models learn to shoot
Some of the people I photograph are not familiar with firearms. I try to remedy that, both to have more versatile models and for their benefit as well. I taught the basics to two last weekend, both times using suppressed … Continue reading

Before the kids are old enough to be left alone…
…teach them to deal with possible emergencies. Home invasions are among such events. This 10 year old girl has taken multiple courses at Front Sight and can run a Glock, a 1911 and an Uzi.

New video about tracer ammunition
I find tracers extremely helpful for longer range handgun training and so quite willing to promote Buddy Singleton and SBR Ammunition.
