Another way to set up Keltec RFB
1-4x illuminated scope gives the option of shooting with both eyes open at 1x and more deliberate, precise fire at 2-2.5x. I prefer to use 4x only when firing from supported positions. Given the scarce rail space left on the … Continue reading

New varminting rig
Coyotes are becoming a problem for a friend. To assist, we’ve put together a new rig for night varminting. Keltec RMR30 (22WMR autoloader) with Gemtech sound suppressor (also to remove muzzle flash). Folding “iron” sights for daytime use, 4x night … Continue reading

A capable new shooter at the range
One of the range visitors today was a new shooter. Alex started with S&W617 with CB caps, then shot suppressed Walther P22, Ruger 22/45, STI Elektra 9mm, suppressed Glock 17, Colt (her favorite) and Para Ordnance .45s, Coonan .357. Then … Continue reading

Magnolia
Maggie is enthusiastic about hunting deer with a .243 bolt action but he KSG also caught her interest.
My RFB is back from Keltec
It now has the updated gas system which is easier to adjust. 1-4x Nightforce scope, Gemtech Sandstorm suppressor, Magpul sling and rail sling adapter. The model is Jessica. Although she is shown here with a backup Keltec P3AT, she actually … Continue reading

KSG feature
To me, this looks like an effective gun. Short enough for maneuvering indoors, KSG can be aimed with one hand if necessary. Fifteen rounds of 12ga with option to select slug or buckshot with a flip of a switch should … Continue reading

Keltec KSG
Rio | Keltec | Viridian For size reference, the model is 5’2″ and 95lbs — she had no trouble handling this shotgun. It’s as short as legal without an NFA registration, just over 26″ with 18.5″ barrel. Each magazine holds … Continue reading

Getting sufficient practice with Kel-tec PF9
This Kel-tec PF9 is set up for inexpensive practice. CTC laser allows better dry fire practice by providing visual feedback to trigger control exercise. This way, if you don’t have time to get to the range, some practice can be … Continue reading

Keltec RMR30 in use
By contrast with PMR30, RMR has no visible muzzle flash.
Pro-production RMR30 22 Magnum carbine
The shooter is 13 year old Brookie. First impressions: very accurate, no recoil, light. Stock needs intermediate positions (which it will on the production version). Red dot really helps quick aiming, but iron sights are pretty good and fold out … Continue reading

Bullpup triggers
I keep seeing posts opining that KSG trigger must be awful, “like all bullpups”. RFB .308 and KSG use a very similar trigger design that’s light and crisp. It’s better than any stock AR15 and only slightly inferior to the … Continue reading
KSG = Kills Serious Game?
Now that KSG can handle 2.75″ and 3″ shells, it is even more versatile for dangerous game hunting. Too small for most African dangerous game, it’s quite sufficient for almost anything in North America, especially with the right ammunition.
